⚙️ What you’ll be working on

EPP’s CNC machining department produces custom components from bar stock, blocks, and castings. Depending on the job, machinists may work with aluminum, stainless steel, tool steel, carbon steel, or engineered polymers.

The work can include setting up CNC lathes and mills, selecting tooling and workholding, setting speeds and feeds, editing programs, monitoring machining operations, and inspecting completed parts. Experienced machinists may also help develop fixtures, manufacture experimental components, troubleshoot new programs, and recommend changes that improve setup time, consistency, or production efficiency.

The machining team works alongside engineering, programming, production, and EPP’s in-house tool room. This creates opportunities to contribute beyond cycle operation and understand how parts, tooling, and production processes fit together.
