The Work You’ll Be Doing

Machinists at Acutec work on:

• Part Types: Small, high-precision aerospace components (≤ 2" diameter common)
• Production Style: High-volume, repeat aerospace programs (hundreds of parts per run)
• Typical Tolerances: Up to ±0.0005" (5 tenths)
• Programming & Setup:
  • Operator & setup-focused roles
  • No programming required at the machine for most production roles
  • Clear setup sheets and live digital travelers
• Materials Machined:
  • Stainless steel

  • Inconel (select programs)

Machinists may run multiple machines per shift, depending on cycle times and experience.
