In this exciting role, an experienced aircraft machinist will fabricate emergent productions parts as required using manual and CNC machines; develop and revise Machine Control Data(MCD) and perform other duties in support of our Fabrication Program at BSC. Position Responsibilities: <ul><li>Follows general instructions, reads and interprets complex blueprint drawings and specifications to set-up and machine items to fabricate out of sequence emergent production parts as required using manual and CNC machines.</li><li>Develops and revises Machine Control Data (MCD) and geometry.</li><li>Assists the team in resolving issues and completing job responsibilities.</li><li>Must maintain all necessary certifications to perform the job.</li><li>Exhibits Boeing Behaviors.</li></ul>This position is expected to be 100% onsite. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): <ul><li>Willing and able to work any shift assigned.</li><li>1+ years of experience with 787 Operations.</li><li>3+ years of experience reading and interpreting machine code data (MCD).</li><li>3+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, electrical schematics, and reading and interpreting blueprints or drawings.</li><li>3+ years of work experience in a team environment.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): <ul><li>3+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.</li><li>3+ years of team Leadership (Formal/Informal) experience.</li><li>3+ years of experience using manual mill and lathe machines.</li><li>3+ years of experience setting up and fixtures, operating, and programming CNC machines, i.e. with 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.</li><li>3+ years of experience setting up NC/CNC machines, including probing and using dial indicators to establish set points.</li></ul>Typical Education/ Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).
