General Job Description Dogwood Industries is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator at our Factory in Sedro-Woolley, WA. Dogwood Industries manufactures innovative prefabricated steel structures for industrial use. The core mission of the CNC Machine Operator is to operate a CNC robotic plasma cutting structural fabrication system. The CNC Machine (PythonX) processes steel beams, channel, and square/rectangular tubes. Duties &amp; Responsibilities <ul><li>Reads shop drawings to determine machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements.</li><li>Safely uses material handle equipment to move steel to and from the processing area.</li><li>Possesses knowledge of PythonX including power button and all switches.</li><li>Secures work pieces and operates stops and guides for proper alignment.</li><li>Depresses buttons, toggles, and starts machining operation.</li><li>Observes numerical displays on control panel and compares with data on process sheet to verify dimensional adjustments, feed rates, and speeds of machining cuts.</li><li>Turns dials and switches to correct machine performance.</li><li>Inspects first-run piece and spot-checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications and follows QC procedures.</li><li>Studies job packet and organizes materials for next run to shorten changeover time.</li><li>Additional duties as assigned</li></ul>Requirements Qualifications <ul><li>1+ year of experience as a CNC Machine Operator.</li><li>High school diploma, general education degree or vocational degree </li><li>Experience in an industrial setting.</li><li>Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.</li><li>Must be dependable, trustworthy, possess a positive attitude, and be willing to work independently or in a team environment.</li><li>Willing and able to work a flexible schedule that may include extended work hours and occasional weekends.</li><li>Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat</li></ul> Compensation $22.00 - $34.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. CNC Machine Operator

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a NC Programmer to join our growing team. POSITION DESCRIPTION This position is located on-site in Sedro-Woolley, Washington State. The NC Programmer plans machining sequences and fixturing for 3-5 axis machine tools. The following essential job functions are performed as an NC Programmer: <ul><li>Determines methods, cutter types and cutting parameters depending on a variety of materials (composites, epoxies, steel, aluminum, etc.) and design specifications</li><li>Designs 3-D computer models, drawings and specifications for fabrication of fixturing elements</li><li>Creates 3-5 axis tool paths utilizing Unigraphics CAD/CAM software</li><li>Provides input in production tracking software.</li><li>Works with process engineers on planning of manufacturing process to ensure that quality and design objectives are achieved.</li><li>Creates shop documentation for setup of the machines complying with ISO 9000 standards.</li><li>Analyzes laser-tracking data to assure quality of the setup, when applicable.</li><li>Works with the machinists to make sure setup and machining procedures are followed.</li><li>Perform tool path verification using Vericut software</li><li>General knowledge of standard G-Code language, machine offsets, and part locating</li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE <ul><li>Engineering or engineering technology degree preferred or equivalent work experience.</li><li>5+ years experience as an NC programmer programming 5-axis mills preferred </li><li>Experience using Unigraphics/Siemens NX software preferred.</li><li>Manual machining experience a plus.</li></ul> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION <ul><li>Wage range for this role is between $27 - $58 an hour plus a discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts, off-site work, and access pay. The range provided is Janicki's estimate of the base compensation for this role.
