We are looking for a CNC Programmer who thrives in fast paced environment. A typical day: <ul> <li>Programming parts for CNC machines by reading and interpreting approved fabrication drawings.</li> <li>Reading drawings and/or sketches of work and establishing machining methods, materials and setups needed to machine the parts required.</li> <li>Translating 2D or 3D drawings into machine readable programs to operate CNC routers including call outs for all material requirements.</li> <li>Supporting production on a daily basis to ensure that client needs are being met.</li> <li>Developing, implementing and optimizing CNC programs for new materials.</li> <li>Programming nesting configurations for production staff to optimize material use.</li> <li>Programming prototypes, samples, templates.</li></ul>Who we are looking for: <ul> <li>5+ years AutoCAD/CNC Programming and setup experience, preferably in a woodwork/millwork shop</li> <li>Experience in cabinetmaking is an asset.</li> <li>Knowledge of Biesse software is an asset.</li> <li>Experience with MasterCAM.</li> <li>Proficient in MS Office.</li> <li>Comfortable using basic and advanced measuring equipment.</li> </ul> Hours of work are 7:00-4:30 with opportunities for overtime.
