ARCH Medical Solutions - Lehigh Valley (Whitehall, PA location) is looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join their team.ARCH Medical Solutions - Whitehall, PA machines high quality medical instrumentation and devices, robotic end effectors and aerospace/defense components.&nbsp;As a CNC Machinist you will produce very complex machined parts by setting up and operating a CNC Mill or Lathe Machines.&nbsp;We currently operate state-of-the-art:<ul><li>Multi-axis Mazak Mills</li><li>Multi-axis Mazak Turning Centers</li></ul>What you’ll do<ul><li>Read blueprint or job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut.</li><li>Select, positions, and secure work piece (chuck, collet, or vise). Change tools, adjust offsets and tool comps to maintain required part quality.</li><li>Inspect products during the machining operation to determine if parts meet print specifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Observe operation of machine and verify conformance of machined workpiece to specifications.</li><li>Maintain equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements.&nbsp; Reporting need for machine repairs.</li><li>Understand and comply with company policy safety guidelines, quality systems requirements and housekeeping standards.</li></ul>What you need to thrive in this role<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.&nbsp;</li><li>Prior experience operating CNC Mills or Lathes (experience preferred in setting up and programming/editing programs)</li><li>Ability to read and understand blueprints including GD&amp;T tolerancing with profile tolerancing preferred.</li><li>Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction.</li><li>Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, ability to anticipate, think ahead and plan.</li><li>Ability to work in a team, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills.</li></ul>About us and what we offer youARCH team members play an important part in making a positive impact on lives worldwide—and they do it in a positive work environment.
