The Machinist/CNC Programmer is responsible for CNC machine programming, setup and first article for multi-axis CNC mills and lathes, for both production and prototype components. CNC Programmer &amp; Machinist DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Review CAD Models and/or blueprints to determine ideal machining strategy, including what tools, speeds, feeds and work holding techniques to be utilized. Generate programs using CAM (Mastercam) software and run simulations to verify the program approach and revise as needed to increase efficiency and quality.
