Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>The potential candidate shall be proficient in all aspects of CNC programming, machining and inspection.</li> <li>The applicant must be proficient in off-line CNC programming, capable of making own set-ups on simple easy to machine parts to single one-of-a-kind complex prototypes on a variety of materials.</li> <li>This person must also be capable of providing technical and operational assistance to apprentice machine tool operators.</li></ul>Basic Qualifications: <ul> <li>The applicant must have completed a 4 year Machining/Machinist journeyperson apprenticeship program or hold an associate degree in machining or a related field</li> <li>The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a fast paced manufacturing/machining environment.</li></ul>Physical and Mental Demands: <ul> <li>Regularly or frequently sitting, talking, hearing, grasping, touching, walking, reaching with hands/arms and performing repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movements.</li> <li>Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.</li> <li>Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less to type documents, read and use a computer.</li> <li>Concentrated attention to proofread documents, create spreadsheets, etc. and application of principles of logical thinking and reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.</li> <li>Apply reasoning to solve practical problems and to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. </li></ul>Work Environment: <ul> <li>Moderate noise level (i.e. computers, printers, etc.).
