I. Job Summary Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 3:30 pm and Friday 6:00am to 10:00 am with some overtime. Responsible for assembly of composite parts as directed by work orders; finish parts by laying out, bond, trim, drill, countersink, fill, and sand. May also apply markings, and package parts after completion. Includes use of small hand tools such as drills and sanders, along with operating a 5-Axis machine. II. Essential Job Functions • Reads blueprints, diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings. • Examines products for defects, performing required tests, measurement of performance, need for required adjustments and verification of specified tolerances. • Wet lay-up, vacuum bagging, and de-burring. • Mark and cut tape, woven material, honeycomb, adhesive and similar materials following templates, guides or specific dimensions and sequences. • Records information on appropriates production records, logs and other report forms, including oracle transactions to assure traceability is maintained throughout fabrication and assembly. • Performs re-work as required.
