Job Summary: A CNC Machine Operator is an integral member of the Machine Shop staff that contributes their expertise and focus to the setup and creation of product on a variety of CNC mills and lathes. You will learn to set up and operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) mills and lathes to produce precision metal components and inspect product to drawing specifications. They are responsible for loading raw materials into the cnc cutter, monitoring its performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The cnc machine operator position safely performs laser cutting for a variety of manufacturing products.
