We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill/Turn Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC Mill/Turn machines to produce precision components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure quality standards are met. CNC Mill/Turn Operator Job Duties and Responsibilities: <ul><li>Set up and prepare CNC Mill/Turn machines for operation. </li><li>Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations. </li><li>Ability to edit programs when needed. </li><li>Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced to specifications and quality standards. </li><li>Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as needed to maintain dimensional accuracy. </li><li>Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). </li><li>Complete tool changes and adhere to the tool change schedule to help facilitate maximum efficiency and throughput of the machine. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime. </li><li>Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), following lockout/tagout procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. </li><li>Collaborate with team members and engineers to optimize production processes. </li></ul>Requirements <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a CNC Mill/Turn Operator. </li><li>Proven experience as a CNC Mill/Turn Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC Mill/Turn machines. </li><li>Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and materials. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. </li><li>Experience with editing G-code programming. </li><li>Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality control techniques. </li><li>Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset. </li><li>Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues. </li><li>Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. </li><li>Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. </li></ul>
