CNC/PC Based Operator

As a CNC Machining Centre Operator, you will set up and operate CNC machining systems such as mills and lathes, and/or heat treat and power skiving equipment, producing parts for the manufacture of forestry and off-road equipment. The successful candidate will have experience working with measurement tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure machined parts are within the required dimensions and tolerances. Based out of the Electrical Division Edmonton (EDE) location, the CNC Press Brake Operator will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor of the Fabrication Department. The CNC Press Brake Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining fabrication machines in a manufacturing environment. They are skilled in operating various types of machinery, such as CNC machines, laser cutters, or press brakes, to fabricate metal or other materials according to specifications. The Operator may also be responsible for setting up and calibrating machines, monitoring the production process, and performing quality checks to ensure the final products meet the required standards. They work closely with the production team and follow safety protocols to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
