The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines including 5-axis mills and Swiss-style lathes
• Load, run, and edit CNC programs at the machine as required
• Select tooling, set offsets, and verify workholding
• Hold tight blueprint tolerances and document quality data
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections
• Make program adjustments to maintain performance and accuracy
• Perform basic TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
• Partner with engineering, quality, and production teams to support Lean initiatives

Machines, Controls & Inspection

Machines: 5-Axis CNC Mills, Swiss-Style CNC Lathes
Controls: (Fanuc-style environments common in Swiss applications)
Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges, blueprint-driven inspection

Materials You’ll Work With

• Nitinol
• Stainless Steel
• Nickel Alloys
• Other precision medical-grade metals

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 3–5+ years of CNC machining and setup experience
• Experience with multi-axis mills or Swiss-style lathes
• Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
• Ability to edit programs at the machine
• Detail-oriented, quality-focused mindset
• Reliable, team-oriented, safety-conscious

Preferred:

• Medical device or highly regulated manufacturing experience
• Lean manufacturing exposure
