CNC Operator 2nd Shift

Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC, a leading supplier of American-made, industrial cutting tools, is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for 3rd shift for our production facility located in Millersburg, PA. This person will be responsible for set-up and operation of production machinery. This position works 10 hours per day, four days per week. Position Summary: Responsibilities include but are not limited to advanced set up and operation of various production machines as well as performing general maintenance to keep machines operational. CNC Programmer-Operator-Fabricator

Overview &amp; Responsibilities Overview To set up and operate horizontal lathes and grinders related to the machining, grinding, milling and turning of all rotor shafts and sleeves. This would also include impeller coupons and grinding of buckets. Responsibilities <ul><li>Reviews the daily workload schedule.</li><li>Interprets drawings (part &amp; tool) and sketches, special engineering instruction, short forms and MPO instructions.</li><li>Performs all necessary set-up operations.</li><li>Performs all necessary machining operations.</li><li>Performs all part and tool verification requirements using various measuring instruments and machine probing systems including the completion of data sheets.</li><li>Performs all tool setting requirements.</li><li>Performs all planned P/M requirements.</li><li>Plans and completes all necessary tooling, set-up hardware and measuring gages to manufacture the parts.</li><li>Utilizes DNC Network.</li><li>Performs all layout and inspection functions.</li><li>Obtains drawings, tools and fixtures from the tool crib or necessary materials from stock while maintaining the department tool inventory.</li><li>Performs all assemblies and disassemblies as required.</li><li>Monitors all machine tool functions.</li><li>Marks parts for identification.</li><li>Reports defective material, equipment and tooling to appropriate management personnel.</li><li>Verifies accuracy of micrometers/gages as required.</li><li>Deburrs as necessary.</li><li>Rebuilds, adjusts, changes and dresses tools as required.</li><li>Uses fork lift truck, hoists, cranes, and other material handling equipment as required.</li><li>Lubricates machine as required.
