The company operates with a quality system that is ISO 13485:2016 certified and FDA registered.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Setup, trouble-shoot and operate CNC Swiss Lathes (sliding headstock) including tooling installation, offsets, work-holding, coolant lines (high and low pressure), and understand and perform all conventional methods of swiss machining</li><li>Perform minor program adjustments as needed when approved by manager (i.e. deburring passes, order of operation, speed &amp; feed adjustments, etc)</li><li>Perform and document in-process inspection utilizing good documentation practices</li><li>Assist co-workers in the troubleshooting of CNC machining issues</li><li>Ability to read and interpret prints and GD&amp;T per ASME Y14.5</li><li>Attend Pre-production Meetings as needed</li><li>Must have social skills to adequately operate in a team environment and maintain a positive company culture</li><li>Act as a leader and mentor to new operators learning CNC machining</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Experience/Education: High School Diploma, and 5+ years experience in a relevant manufacturing environment with minimum 2 years of swiss-lathe setup experienceExperience with 21 CFR Part 820 and ISO 13485:2016 preferred but not requiredKnowledge of common manufacturing processes such as CNC milling, CNC turning, blast finishing, laser marking, cleaning, passivation, anodization, heat treatment, forming, etc. preferred but not required.Travel Requirements: Minimal. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, and power transmissions. Demonstrated ability to follow all established safe work procedures including, but not limited to personal protection equipment, safety lockout/tag-out, confined space, and elevated work areas. Responsibilities <ul><li>Set up CNC lathes and mills for new operations.</li><li>Ensures operation of CNC machines and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on machining lathes and mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.</li><li>Mechanic skills include, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.</li><li>Locates root cause of problems by using sound troubleshooting methods to ensure that permanent repairs can be made to minimize costly downtime.</li><li>Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of machine control components including, but not limited to; motor drives, controllers, sensors, switches, breakers, overloads, power supplies, etc.</li><li>Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair all types of power transmission components including, but not limited to; drives, bearings, gears, belts, chains, sprockets, etc.</li><li>Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems including, but not limited to: tanks, pumps, valves, piping, cylinders, and controls.</li><li>Provide proper record keeping, documentation, and information for, but not limited to Machine files, repair files.</li><li>Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, technical parts manuals such as electrical and mechanical diagrams, gages, meters, calipers and other measuring tools.</li><li>Use all required hand and power tools including, but not limited to: drill, saw, torch, and jacks, as well as ladders, cranes, fork lift, and other maintenance equipment.</li></ul> This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing during shift
