Position Summary Mill Creek Machining (MCM), a CMT company, is seeking a CNC Mill Machinist for our Paullina, IA location. The CNC Mill Machinistis responsible for quality parts produced on our CNC Okuma horizontals, Okk horizontals, Doosan and Brother mills. An additional $3.00 per hour will be added to your hourly rate of pay for working the night shift. A weekly attendance bonus of $44.00 per week will be added to each pay period when all scheduled hours are worked* *Our machine shop is 100% climate controlled!* Essential Duties and Responsibilities <ul><li>Verifies cycle times on all jobs and reports discrepancies to his/her crew chief and annotates on traveler. </li><li>Verifies/sets gauging against known standards and ensures gauging is correct per inspection sheet. </li><li>Knows and ensures all safety devices are in place and working properly. </li><li>Inspects machine and work area in general for proper order and operation. </li><li>Operates machinery according to acceptable and safe practice. </li><li>Makes routine offsets and able to ascertain the need for changing inserts and capable of doing so as needed. </li><li>Able to change work holding fixtures and tooling as instructed by crew chief. </li><li>Assists in the preparation and execution of set ups as directed by machinist or crew chief. </li><li>Competent in all the duties of a trainee and performs all tasks as assigned by supervision/management. </li></ul> Experience, Qualifications, and Skills <ul><li>High school diploma or GED.</li><li>1+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Ability to apply concepts of basic math. </li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. </li><li>Ability to produce precision work.</li></ul> Benefits and Perks Our comprehensive benefits package includes, but is not limited to, a competitive pay rate, accrued vacation time, sick time, 8 paid holidays + Paid Birthday, 401(k) with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance as well as Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and life/AD&amp;D insurance.
