What You'll Be Doing
- Program, set up, and operate CNC milling and turning equipment
- Maintain machine tools and shop equipment

- Keep your workspace organized and safe
- Collaborate with engineers on complex prototype development
- Mentor less experienced machinists
- Contribute ideas for shop efficiency improvements
Machines, Controls and Software
Core work is CNC milling and turning, plus manual machining equipment. CAM software, 3D CAD, and Microsoft Office are used daily.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in subtractive manufacturing (milling and/or turning)
- CNC programming and operation experience (milling and/or turning)
- Manual machining equipment experience
- Mechanical drawing and GD&T proficiency
- Fixture design and fabrication capability
- Proficiency with CAM software, 3D CAD, and Microsoft Office
- Hand tool and inspection equipment competency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Clearance

Pay, Benefits and Schedule
$44.63–$48.65 per hour, based on experience (Job Grade RDTEU-INSPECSR). Standard hours, with occasional overtime to meet critical program milestones.
