SR HORIZONTAL CNC PROGRAMMER

Job Summary
We are a very popular Firearm manufacturer located in Boise Idaho seeking a Senior Horizontal CNC Programmer to join our team. Position requires supporting peers to do set up and 1st articles on Horizontal and Vertical CNC machines to produce high-precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of fixture design, Production and R&D machining . The Senior Horizontal CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while supporting their peers to grow professionally.

Duties

• Program and optimize Horizontal and Vertical CNC programs using Mastercam
• Perform set ups and 1st articles and support their peers to do set ups and 1st articles.
• Develop fixturing, optimize existing programs and improve production on lights out machining.
• Support Engineering by manufacturing R&D parts and providing manufacturing feedback..
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machinery during production runs.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and enhance product quality.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine performance and quality inspections.

Requirements

• Senior level Horizontal CNC programming (Mastercam).
• Advanced fixture design, perform 1st articles etc.
• Improve existing programs, help improve quality and reduce cycle times.
• Support QC to ensure we have adequate inspection processes in place.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Automation and robotics experience is a big plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Horizontal CNC Programming: 5 years (Preferred)
