This Quality Inspector role exists to ensure precision machined components meet engineering requirements and customer expectations throughout production. You'll help maintain the standards and consistency required inside a certified, process-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on precision machined components
  • Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications
  • Verify product conformance and maintain inspection records
  • Operate CMM equipment and advanced metrology tools
  • Apply and interpret GD&T requirements
  • Document inspection findings and communicate non-conformances
  • Support dimensional verification and maintain quality records
  • Work closely with machinists, programmers, and leadership teams
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on inspection work and takes pride in precision and process control.

Inspection Equipment:

  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
  • Optical Comparator
  • Height Gages
  • Pin Gages
  • Thread Gages
  • Calipers / Verniers

Software & Systems:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • ISO-controlled quality systems

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Previous Quality Inspector experience in manufacturing
  • Experience using standard metrology equipment
  • Experience operating CMM equipment
  • Strong understanding of GD&T
  • Experience working within an ISO-controlled environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred:

  • CMM programming experience
  • Experience inspecting precision machined components
