Job Description

Precision Waterjet & Laser is looking for parts inspectors for 1st shift AND swing shifts - M-F (10:00-6:30 or 11:00-7:30).

• CMM measuring equipment and comparators to check angles and radiuses, digital and dial style calipers, micrometers, height gauges, telescoping bore gauges, thread and ring gauges, precision pins, Depth micrometers, protractors, and surface tester.
• Performing in process, and final inspections on machined components with high accuracy.
• Perform and record the results of part inspections
• Ability to perform internal auditing and calibration helpful.

Requirements

• Ability to speak Spanish
• Faro arm CNC experience is mandatory. Knowledge of Verisurf is required to run Faro arm.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with inspecting CNC machined parts, sheet metal, & welded parts.
• Working experience with optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, surface places, height gages, pin gages & thread gages.
• Experience with completing dimensional inspection forms, bubbling drawings, AS9102 forms, compiling cert packages & interfacing with source inspectors, conducting corrective actions/preventative actions & solid knowledge of GD&T.
