The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines with 4th-axis capability
  • Perform complete job setups, including workholding, tooling, and offsets
  • Machine complex aerospace components to tight tolerances
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, customer specifications, and GD&T
  • Make real-time adjustments to feeds, speeds, and offsets to ensure part conformance
  • Perform in-process inspections and support First Article Inspections (FAIs)
  • Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and quality to improve cycle times and tooling
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with AS9100 requirements
  • Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and safety-compliant
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and monitor machine condition
