Manufacturing Lead / CNC Engineer

Anpec Industries is hiring a Manufacturing Lead / CNC Engineer to lead and elevate our machining operations in Pecatonica, IL. This is a high-impact role for an experienced CNC professional who’s passionate about improving processes, mentoring machinists, and pushing for excellence every day.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead hands-on CNC production efforts—complex setups, toolpath optimization, and machine troubleshooting.
• Program production parts using CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, Esprit, or equivalent).
• Optimize cycle times, improve part quality, and drive tooling efficiencies.
• Design and build custom fixtures in SolidWorks for complex castings and forgings.
• Mentor junior machinists and build a robust training program for internal development.
• Collaborate across departments—shop floor, engineering, QC, and production management.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and quick-change tooling strategies.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• 5–15 years of CNC production machining experience, preferably in milling.
• Master-level G-code programming (Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, Siemens, or Okuma); Mazatrol a bonus.
• Fluent in CAM programming for production workflows.
• Proven setup/operator experience with:
  • CNC Vertical Machining Centers (3-axis)
  • CNC Horizontal Machining Centers
  • CNC Multi-Tasking Lathes with sub-spindle (a plus)
• Deep tooling knowledge—speeds, feeds, tool selection, HEM techniques.
• Solid understanding of GD&T, complex part prints, and inspection processes.
• Experience with SolidWorks for fixture design.
• Knowledge of CMM principles (no programming required).
• Natural mentor and communicator—able to lead, train, and inspire a team.

• Track record of owning a department and driving continuous improvement.
