This Machinist role supports critical machining, rebuilding, and remanufacturing work for large industrial equipment, ensuring customer uptime and high-quality results across a wide range of applications.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate conventional, special-purpose, and NC machining equipment
• Machine metallic and nonmetallic components to customer specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and manuals
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points
• Select tooling, fixtures, attachments, and materials for each job
• Set speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and depth of cut
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain tolerances
• Perform trial runs to verify setup accuracy
• Fit and assemble machined components, including teardown and repair work
• Install machined replacement parts and test equipment functionality
• Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and production teams to resolve issues
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with regulatory requirements

• Machines:
  • CNC and manual mills
  • CNC and manual lathes
  • Horizontal mills
  • Vertical turret lathes (VTLs)
  • Portable machining equipment
• Controls:
  • NC and conventional machine controls
• Inspection Tools:
  • Calipers, micrometers, indicators, and precision measuring tools

• Carbon and alloy steels

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 1–3+ years of machining experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches
• Understanding of machining setups, tooling, and tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred (Not Required):

• Journeyman Machinist certification
• Experience in industrial repair, rebuild, or steel service environments
• Exposure to large-part or heavy machining

Pay, Benefits & Schedule

Pay Range: $24.00 – $41.00/hr (DOE)

Shift Options:

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Weekend Days: Friday–Sunday | 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM (+$5.33/hr)
• Weekday Nights: Monday–Thursday | 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM (+$3.00/hr)
• Weekend Nights: Friday–Sunday (ending Monday 5:30 AM) | 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM (+$7.00/hr)
