Machinist Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY: Recondition and/or manufacture indexable cutting tools per instructions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Analyze prints, drawings etc. to determine dimensions and configuration of cuts, selection of cutting tools for the job and machine speeds and feeds. · Break down tools for weld prep. · Fixture and set up mill for repair. · Mill insert pockets using various cutting tools. · Use tool print specifications to hold tolerances. · Inspect repaired parts to ensure customer requirements are met. · Complete inspection reports and documentation as required. · Maintain a clean and organized work area. · Report to & communicate with Shop Supervisor. · Train others as needed · Other special duties as assigned. · Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure fulfillment of MSC’s vision and unity of purpose. · Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required QUALIFICATIONS What You Need: · High school diploma or the equivalent. · 2+ year experience with reading blueprints and using inspection equipment or equivalent · 2+ year experience with operating some type of manual milling machinery or equivalent Bonus Points If You Have: · n/a
