Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, VTLs, and EDM equipment for aerospace turbine components.
• Perform complex setups, tool changes, and offsets with minimal supervision.
• Read, interpret, and machine parts to aerospace blueprints and process sheets.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances.
• Edit and adjust CNC programs as needed (G-code familiarity preferred).
• Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and production standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of CNC machining experience in aerospace or other high-precision industries.
• Strong setup experience on multi-axis CNC equipment (Okuma, Doosan, Makino, Fanuc, or similar).
• Ability to read and edit G-code preferred.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges).
• Solid understanding of tooling, work offsets, and part probing systems (Renishaw preferred).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (ITAR/EAR compliance required).

Work Environment

• Fast-paced aerospace manufacturing facility.
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• PPE required (safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, etc.).
• Overtime and alternate work week shifts available.
