We are currently seeking a Machining Supervisor to oversee the facility's machining operations in Mooresville, NC. The Supervisor is responsible for manufacturing supervision, delivering on production goals and metrics, coaching, resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.

The ideal candidate will be able to guide and assist in training employees and be results driven. The goal is to ensure that machining operations are carried out productively to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.

The candidate should have previous management/supervisory experience in a CNC machining environment. The candidate should be able to display professionalism in communicating to various departments on both shifts including, but not limited to:
  • CNC Machining
  • Wash/Deburr
  • Quality
  • Maintenance
  • Training

The candidate will be responsible for insuring proper production levels and productivity of two shifts and staff in various departments.
  • Strong ability to communicate with Management, Leads, and employees on multiple shifts.
  • Must have ability to utilize a computer/pc and be trained to utilize it for a variety of tasks needed to maintain positive production during shift.
  • Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision.
  • Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
  • Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Maintain and assist in achieving goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates.
  • Convey information from upper management to employees and vice versa.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.

General Requirements:
  • Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role
  • Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field
  • Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Previous CNC shop experience
