Ensure Machine operator (Vice Loader) measures concentration. Direct and oversee task to ensure concentration is around 7-9%. Communicate with Purchasing when running low on coolant. Communicate with maintenance when hydraulic Oil is low.</li><li>Oversee Scrap, tool destroyed, and generate report providing root cause.</li><li>Review New and ongoing jobs, and based on qty or periodic run, make strides to improve setup and runtime. &nbsp;(speed, feed, fixture, tooling)</li><li>Upon completion of setup, restore sanity around machine to include putting back the tools, fasteners, paperwork for job.</li></ul>Skills Required:<ul><li>Experience using Horizontal Machining Center experience with FANUC Controller.</li><li>Experience producing G code using Mastercam, using engineering 2D and 3D Model.</li><li>Experience using Renishaw Probe, tool breakage detection and relevant programming.</li><li>Experience using high pressure thru coolant tools to enhance production.</li><li>Experience identifying the tools and calculating speed and feeds using available resources.</li><li>Experience doing first article inspection, using various primitive tools and recording results to ensure compliance.</li><li>Highly motivated and ability to learn new technologies, in quest to enhance quality and productivity.</li></ul>Skills Preferred:<ul><li>Experience using multi-pallet system.</li><li>Experience using Doosan Horizontal Machining center.</li><li>Experience in Hydraulic Industry.</li><li>Experience managing tools in Production cell environment.</li></ul>

CNC Horizontal Setup Machinist

Pace Engineering is a manufacturer of machined components for the earthmoving, mining, and construction industries located in Willoughby, OH. We have an IMMEDIATE opening for a Finishing/Shipping Supervisor on day shift. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures. Embraces an accident/incident-free work environment.</li><li>Promotes a positive work environment and leads by example in all aspects of job performance.</li><li>Supervise, plan, coach, and train finishing technicians to finish and pack parts to customer specifications, defect-free, on-time to shipment due date, and cost effectively.</li><li>Prepares machined products for customers through deburring, grinding, shot-peening, gaging/cleaning threads, and etching/labeling parts. Conduct final part inspection prior to customer shipment.</li><li>Prepares shipments by assembling, packing, protecting parts, and labeling containers.</li><li>Generates purchase orders for external processes based upon shop router.</li><li>Receives items by unloading vehicles with a lift truck; accepting deliveries; and unpacking containers.</li><li>Verifies items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; identifies discrepancies; and closes purchase order in ERP system.</li><li>Conducts physical inventory counts of raw materials and finished goods. Completes material adjustments in ERP system.</li><li>Accurately and timely completes required internal and external shipping procedures, documents, ERP system processes, and online 3rd party software systems to effectively transport goods.</li><li>Maintain all equipment to allow maximum production uptime with planned maintenance schedules.</li><li>Embraces the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and adheres to its processes, procedures, and work instructions.</li><li>Observes, recommends, and implements improvements.
