As production continues to grow, we're seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Technician to support our turning department and help ensure quality parts are delivered on time.
This role is ideal for a machinist who enjoys ownership of the setup process, problem-solving on the shop floor, and producing precision-machined components.

The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC horizontal lathes
- Verify tooling, offsets, and workholding
- Load and adjust CNC programs as required
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining issues and improve production efficiency
- Support production schedules while maintaining quality standards

What We're Looking For
Required
- 3+ years of CNC lathe setup experience
- Experience running 2-axis and 3-axis CNC lathes
- Blueprint reading skills
- Working knowledge of G-code programming
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred
- Fanuc experience
- Okuma experience
- Bar feeder experience
- GD&T knowledge
- Aerospace, Defense, or Medical manufacturing experience
