First Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am-2:30 pm
Objective:
Manufacture parts and components for hand-held surgical instruments by programming, setting up, and operating sophisticated and complicated CNC metal machining equipment, specifically Citizen lathes or comparable equipment.
Responsibilities:

Objective:

Responsibilities:
- Program, set-up, and operate sophisticated and complicated CNC metal machining equipment, specifically citizen lathes or comparable equipment.
- Set-up and operate manual and less sophisticated CNC metal machining equipment.
- Use of measurement instruments including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.
- Train CNC technician to become fully proficient to set up, operate and manufacture parts to controlled documents and drawings.
- Able to work with little to no supervision.
- Meets print dimensions and specifications in order to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Consistently and diligently meets or exceeds standards for time, hours earned or appropriate amounts of completed work.
- No Direct Reports.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years experience at Journeyman level.
- Manual machining of metal.
- Experience programming, setting up, and operating sophisticated/complicated and less complicated CNC metal machining experience including citizen lathes or equivalent equipment.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to visualize shapes.
- Ability to follow verbal and written manufacturing procedures.
- Experiencing reading blueprints.
- Machine Shop certificate.
- Technical School training.
- Familiar with EDM programming/setup.
