This is a senior hands-on maintenance role supporting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, automation, and welding systems across an industrial manufacturing facility. You will be counted on to diagnose complex failures, restore equipment safely, and develop permanent solutions that improve reliability rather than relying on temporary fixes.

The work covers PLC diagnostics, three-phase power up to 480V, VFD configuration, industrial welding systems, bulk gas infrastructure, hydraulic equipment, cranes, hoists, and material-handling systems. You will also support equipment installation and commissioning, help develop maintenance procedures, and contribute to continuous-improvement projects. It is a strong fit for a technician who works independently, communicates clearly, and takes safety and root-cause analysis seriously.

⚙️ What you'll be doing

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
• Connect to PLC software and diagnose logic, input, and timing issues
• Diagnose three-phase electrical systems up to 480V
• Troubleshoot, configure, and tune VFDs
• Repair industrial MIG, TIG, and submerged-arc welding equipment
• Maintain bulk gas manifolds, regulators, mixers, and flowmeters
• Read hydraulic schematics and diagnose valves, cylinders, and pressure loss
• Lead root-cause failure analysis on recurring equipment problems
• Inspect and maintain cranes, hoists, and material-handling systems
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning
• Develop maintenance procedures and standard work

✅ What we're looking for

Required:

• 5+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience preferred, including at least 3 years supporting industrial welding, stamping, or structural fabrication
• Ability to read maintenance procedures, technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Proficiency with electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and work in confined or elevated spaces

Preferred:

• ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing experience
• SMRP Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician
• NCCER, AWS, or SACA certifications
• Lockout/Tagout certification
• OSHA 10 or 30 training
• NFPA 70E training
• Bilingual Spanish/English capability

💰 Pay, benefits & schedule

Pay: $30–$33 per hour
Job Type: Full Time
Schedule: Weekend, overtime, and on-call availability may be required
