Experienced Machinist – Manual & CNC Programming

***Do not apply unless you have real machining experience. We need someone who can run

manual mills/lathes and also program CNC machines. This is a hands-on job for a versatile,

skilled machinist — not an entry-level CNC operator role.***

Industrial Services of Peachtree City is a full-service welding, fabrication, and machining shop

working with steel, aluminum, stainless, and plastics. We specialize in precision parts and

solutions for wholesalers, retailers, and contractors.

We’re looking for a highly skilled Manual & CNC Machinist who can both operate and

program a variety of manual and CNC equipment for custom part fabrication.

What You’ll Do:

• Run manual mills and lathes to machine precision parts from scratch or drawings.

• Program and run CNC mills and lathes (G-code or conversational).

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and part samples.

• Machine materials including steel, stainless, aluminum, and plastics.

• Work independently to design and build accurate components.

• Use CAD/CAM or G/M-code programming (Mastercam experience is a plus).

• Hold close tolerances and verify dimensions using measuring tools.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience running manual machines.

• 5+ years programming and operating CNC mills/lathes.

• Strong blueprint reading and mechanical problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and precision instruments.

• Comfortable machining complex, one-off parts.

Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus):

• Mastercam programming

• CAD/CAM knowledge

Compensation & Benefits:

• $20-$35/hr depending on experience

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Possible Overtime on Friday’s.
