Experienced CNC Programmer and Machinist

**THIS IS NOT AN OPERATOR POSITION**

Machinist with a diverse back ground in manufacturing. Someone able to change and adapt to an ever evolving manufacturing environment, with-in a small fast-paced family owned organization. This position requires familiarity with CNC set up, programming and operation of equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Program, set-up and operation of CNC Okuma Milling equipment both Horizontal & Vertical.
• You will be required to secure tooling for your jobs out of our vast selection.
• Okuma and/or Mazak experience is a plus+.
• Okuma lathe experience is a plus+.
• Extensive programming experience required. Mastercam preferred.
• Must be able read and understand blueprints and take knowledge to produce quality tight tolerance parts as required.
• Must be able to read calipers, micrometers and other inspection equipment.
• Understanding of speeds and feeds.
• Having good written and verbal communication skills.
• Being self-motivated.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Physical demands: While performing duties of the job, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Work Environment: Must be able to work in shop environment: i.e. heat & cold, dust and noise.
• Overtime is required on a regular basis.
• Pay starting at $40 an hour is negotiable based on experience and production capability.
• Relocation help can be attained if the employee meets qualifications.
