Job Description

Precision Waterjet & Laser is seeking a full time Solidworks design engineer to prepare designs & detailed shop drawings for fabrication for our ornamental metal work division. Applicants must be experienced in Solidworks, illustrator and photoshop.

Your responsibilities will include

• Preparing shop drawings with detailed bill of materials.
• Prepare photo realistic renderings in Solidworks & visualize software.
• Reverse engineer products as needed.
• Prepare cut files for cnc machines.
• Detail drawings with hardware (pem), bend layouts and weld symbols.
  Raster to vector conversion & artwork cleanup as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience with Solidworks
• Proficient in AutoCAD. Must be able to perform basic 2D and 3D modeling operations
• Creativity and spatial relationships vision, with mathematics & analytical thinking
• Familiar with manufacturing processes, tooling, design, CAD principles
• Industrial engineering in a machining environment with proven performance
• Accuracy is essential for this position
• Exhibits analytical skills in defect prevention, root cause analysis, problem solving
• Excellent communication skills

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,400.00 per week
