Shift Differential: +10% for all hours worked on 2nd shift

Position Overview

If you are someone who takes pride in precision and enjoys focused, hands-on work, this is the role for you.

As a Deburr Technician, you will use microscopes and fine hand tools to remove burrs and imperfections from small orthopedic components used in life-changing medical devices. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy detailed work, have strong hand-eye coordination, and care deeply about quality.

No prior deburring experience is required — we provide training.

What You Will Do

  • Use a microscope and small hand tools (knives, files, picks) to remove burrs from small precision parts
  • Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, comparators, and other measuring tools
  • Ensure all parts meet dimensional and cosmetic quality standards
  • Follow all safety, quality, and work procedures
  • Keep your workstation clean, organized, and inspection-ready
  • Report equipment, tooling, or material issues to your supervisor or lead

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience (Preferred)
  • Experience working with small parts and/or microscopes (Preferred)
  • No previous work experience required – training provided

Physical Demands

  • Frequent use of a microscope for extended periods
  • Frequent handling and positioning of small parts and tools
  • Frequent standing and movement throughout the facility
  • Frequent repetitive hand and finger movements
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required
  • Ability to distinguish writing, measurements, and defects frequently
