This role plays a critical part in restoring and protecting high-value gas turbine components through advanced thermal spray coating processes. The successful candidate will help ensure critical energy infrastructure components meet demanding performance, durability, and quality requirements.

The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Prepare turbine and power generation components for thermal spray coating operations
- Operate robotic thermal spray coating systems and supporting equipment
- Apply thermal spray coatings using automated and semi-automated processes
- Adjust robot toolpaths, gas flow settings, and process parameters to achieve coating specifications
- Perform masking and surface protection operations to prevent overspray
- Operate surface preparation equipment prior to coating application
- Perform post-processing activities including blending, finishing, and overspray removal
- Load and unload components using cranes and material handling equipment
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
- Complete quality inspections and maintain production documentation
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine equipment checks
- Support continuous improvement and maintain a clean, organized work area

What We're Looking For
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2–4 years of CNC, robotics, or automated manufacturing experience
- Experience operating robotic equipment and auxiliary manufacturing systems
- Experience with component preparation, masking, and surface protection techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to adjust robotic programs and process parameters
- Ability to obtain or maintain Career Readiness / WorkKeys Certificate (Silver Level)
- Ability to pass required hearing, vision, and pulmonary function testing
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Preferred
- Thermal spray coating experience
- Experience operating robotic coating systems
- Experience with gas flow control systems
- Aerospace, turbine, energy, or industrial coating experience
- Surface preparation and finishing experience
- Crane and material handling experience
