The Work You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC Star Swiss lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications
• Configure tooling, offsets, and machine setups to achieve optimal performance
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections
• Change tooling and offsets as needed
• Make machine adjustments to maintain part quality
• Perform G-code edits and machine troubleshooting when required
• Complete preventative maintenance activities
• Work independently while collaborating with production and quality teams

Machines, Controls & Equipment

You'll work with equipment such as:

Machines:

• CNC Star Swiss Lathes
• Swiss-style turning equipment
• Single turret lathe equipment

Programming:

• G-Code editing

Inspection Tools:

• Calipers
• Micrometers
• Precision measuring tools

Materials You'll Work With

Materials may include:

• Precision machined components
• Production manufacturing materials
• Metal components and assemblies

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 2+ years of CNC Swiss setup experience
• 2+ years working with Swiss lathe machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Experience changing tools and offsets
• Ability to inspect parts independently
• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
• Strong troubleshooting and setup skills

Preferred (Not Required):

• Toolmaking experience
• Experience with CNC Star Swiss machines
• G-code editing experience
• Additional machine programming exposure
