Why This Job Is Worth Considering

ATC is a small precision CNC shop in Camarillo building parts for space, defense, automotive, and medical customers, and this role is a real path from setup work into programming. You will work directly with experienced machinists and programmers on precision and aerospace-related components, with room to take on more Mastercam programming, tooling, and setup responsibility as your skills grow. You do not need to already be a Mastercam expert — a solid setup background with basic Mastercam knowledge is enough to start.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Set up and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes
• Perform tooling, offsets, workholding, and job prove-outs
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments
• Modify and develop Mastercam programs based on experience level
• Assist with troubleshooting, tooling, and fixture development

Machines, Controls and Software

HAAS CNC mills and lathes. Mastercam programming — basic to intermediate experience expected, with growth into more advanced programming supported on the job.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 2+ years of CNC setup/machining experience
• Basic Mastercam experience
• Able to read drawings and tolerances
• Comfortable with micrometers, calipers, and indicators
• Good understanding of tooling, offsets, and workholding
• Reliable and able to work independently

Preferred

• HAAS mill and/or lathe experience

Pay, Benefits and Schedule

$26–$31 per hour, depending on experience. Full-time, day shift, in Camarillo.
