What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Program CNC milling centers and create toolpaths from CAD models
  • Set up and operate CNC machining equipment
  • Manufacture tooling and precision components to tight tolerances
  • Collaborate with design engineers to improve manufacturability
  • Fit and assemble new tooling
  • Dismantle, repair, and maintain molds, tooling, fixtures, and components
  • Troubleshoot tooling and production-related issues
  • Support the shop floor with technical guidance and recommendations
  • Perform preventative maintenance on machine shop equipment
  • Ensure tooling meets quality and performance requirements

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience programming and setting up CNC milling centers
  • Strong machining and fabrication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing and tooling issues
  • Experience working with CAM software
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

  • Mastercam experience
  • Tool & Die background
  • Mold, fixture, or tooling manufacturing experience
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and design teams
