We’re a close-knit team that values craftsmanship, learning, and doing things the right way — “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right!” Our CNC shop handles both large-volume production and custom one-off projects, using Haas equipment with WPS probing systems for fast, accurate setups.
About the Position
We’re looking for a CNC Programmer / Operator who’s passionate about precision machining and automation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll program, set up, and run CNC mills and lathes to produce complex, dynamic parts that support our high-tech machine builds.
If you’re motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, this is a great place to grow — we have a Master Machinist onsite who’s willing to train the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CNC machines using Autodesk Fusion 360 (mostly 2.5D work).
- Interpret engineering drawings and work orders to develop accurate toolpaths.
- Determine tooling, fixturing, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
- Optimize programs for efficiency and quality.
- Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering and production on new product development.
- Use math, geometry, and logic to create variable-based programs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Prior CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Fusion 360 (or similar CAD/CAM software).
- Familiarity with Haas CNC mills and lathes; Y-axis experience a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior machinists and engineers.
