The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Program complex 5-axis milling operations
  • Program multi-axis CNC turning and mill-turn centers
  • Develop and optimize toolpaths for tight tolerances and superior surface finishes
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
  • Support first-article prove-outs and production troubleshooting
  • Refine programs to improve cycle times and process stability
  • Collaborate with machinists, quality, and engineering teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

This is high-mix, high-precision work — not routine production programming.

CAM Software:

Required

  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience
  • Proven experience programming 5-axis mills and/or multi-axis turning centers
  • Strong CAM software proficiency
  • Deep understanding of G-code and toolpath optimization
  • Ability to interpret complex blueprints and GD&T
  • Experience holding tight tolerances in precision environments

Preferred

  • Aerospace or medical device manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with AS9100D or ISO 13485 environments
  • Experience supporting first-article inspections
