This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, supporting machinists, and ensuring machines are operating at peak performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machinery across the facility
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, and Swiss machines
• Troubleshoot and repair machine tool controls and components
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
• Use OEM manuals and vendor resources to resolve machine issues
• Support production teams by responding to breakdowns and minimizing downtime

Machines, Controls & Equipment

You’ll be working across a large, modern CNC environment including:

• Machines: CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Swiss Machines, Multi-Axis Equipment (up to 13-axis)
• Controls: Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens
• Facility: 120+ CNC machines across a multi-building campus
• Support Systems: Preventative maintenance programs, internal documentation, vendor resources

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing CNC machinery
• Experience with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens controls
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical + electrical)
• Ability to work independently and support production teams

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience in aerospace or medical manufacturing environments
• Multi-axis or Swiss machine exposure
• Experience working in high-mix or high-precision environments
