CR Machine is expanding operations and investing in uptime, reliability, and preventative maintenance across its CNC equipment. This role is critical to keeping production running efficiently by minimizing downtime and proactively maintaining machines used in precision stainless steel and high-temperature alloy machining.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines across the shop floor
• Perform preventative maintenance and help improve maintenance programs
• Identify electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and resolve them efficiently
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical documentation
• Perform repairs such as ball screws, bearings, linear guides, spindle work, turret alignments, and leveling
• Troubleshoot controls, parameters, servo drives, and machine faults
• Verify machine performance by operating equipment after repairs
• Document repairs, maintenance procedures, and findings
• Work independently while collaborating with machinists and production teams

You’ll work with equipment such as:

• Machines: Kitamura, Brother, Miyano, Doosan, Smart CNC machines
• Controls: Fanuc, Mitsubishi
• Systems: Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic CNC systems
• Tools: Power tools, hand tools, precision diagnostic tools

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of CNC machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting ability across electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Experience with Fanuc and/or Mitsubishi controls
• Ability to operate CNC machines to test and validate repairs
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and safety-focused
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience maintaining multi-axis CNC equipment
• Familiarity with Kitamura, Brother, Miyano, Doosan, or Smart machines
• Experience improving preventative maintenance systems
