Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Mechanic II to perform repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on CNC machinery and facility equipment. This position is hands-on and critical to our operation—ideal for mechanically inclined professionals with strong CNC and electrical system experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machining centers, including Mazak, Okuma, Nakamura, Samsung, and DMG Mori equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance (TPM), lubrication, cleaning, and filter changes per manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems (bearings, gears, motors, etc.) and perform root-cause analysis of equipment failures.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
• Use precision measuring tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate and safe machine operation.
• Support facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to emergency repair calls to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of maintenance or CNC repair experience.
• Experience with CNC machining centers (Mazak, Okuma, Nakamura, DMG Mori, Samsung, etc.) preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, AC/DC motors/drives, and industrial electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly; occasionally up to 100 lbs).
• Comfortable working at heights and around loud, active CNC machinery.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
