At Tech-Max Machine, CNC Machinists play a critical role in producing precision parts for aerospace, industrial, and custom applications. This is not repetitive button-pushing — this role requires strong setup, machining knowledge, and pride in craftsmanship.

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC Mills and CNC Lathes
• Load, edit, and verify CNC programs
• Select tooling, set offsets, and verify setups
• Machine large, complex components to print
• Perform in-process and final inspections
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Safely operate lifting and material-handling equipment
• Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping

This role is hands-on, technical, and well-suited for experienced machinists who enjoy challenging work.

You’ll work with advanced CNC equipment including:

Machines

• CNC Mills (Vertical & Horizontal)
• CNC Lathes
• Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL)
• 5-Axis CNC Machines

Controls

• Mazak
• FANUC

Inspection Tools

• Standard precision measuring instruments
• Blueprint & GD&T-based inspection

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes)
• Strong experience with Mazak and/or FANUC controls
• Proven ability to read blueprints and GD&T
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and detail

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with 5-Axis machining or VTLs
• Exposure to AS9100 or ISO 9000 environments
• Background machining large or complex parts
