The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or CNC vertical mills
• Program, load, and adjust CNC programs at the machine
• Machine high-mix, low-volume parts
• Select tooling, set offsets, and dial in setups
• Hold tight tolerances on complex components
• Perform in-process and first-article inspection
• Work with a wide variety of materials and part geometries
• Collaborate with a small, experienced team in a clean job shop

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5–10 years CNC machining experience
• Strong experience with CNC lathes and/or CNC mills
• Ability to set up machines independently
• Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Comfortable holding tight tolerances
• Experience working in a job shop / high-mix environment

Preferred (Not Required)

• Multi-axis lathe / mill-turn experience
• CAM programming experience
• Experience with power generation or defense-related components
• Interest in growing into a lead machinist role
