💼 Job Details

Position Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift (4x10s) — Monday to Thursday
Work Authorization: U.S. Person status required (ITAR compliance)
Relocation Assistance: Available
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 at hire

💰 Compensation

• CNC Machinist II: $26.00 – $29.00/hr
• CNC Machinist III: $28.00 – $34.00/hr
• 2nd Shift Premium: Additional 10%
• Overtime: Available

🔧 Responsibilities

CNC Machinist II — Setup & Programming

• Operate and program CNC mills and lathes
• Read blueprints and CAD models
• Edit G-code to improve cycle times and tolerances
• Assist in quoting and estimating jobs
• Design fixtures, select tooling, and calculate speeds/feeds
• Mentor entry-level machinists

CNC Machinist III — Advanced Programming

• Independently set up and program complex parts
• Work with engineering/project managers on prototypes
• Apply advanced strategies including 5-axis machining
• Troubleshoot complex machining issues
• Lead and mentor junior machinists

✅ Qualifications

• Level II: 2+ years CNC machining + setup experience
• Level III: 3+ years advanced machining and programming
• Experience with Surfcam, Mastercam, or similar CAM software
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school preferred
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus

🏭 Shop Environment

• Climate-controlled precision machine shop
• Standing/walking for extended periods
• Regular lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• PPE provided
• Variety of materials: aluminum, stainless, Inconel, plastics, etc.
