PCX Aerosystems Santa Ana / Integral Aerospace supports mission-critical aerospace and defense programs that demand precision, repeatability, and disciplined machining.
This role supports high-mix production and continuous improvement in a tightly controlled aerospace environment. We’re hiring Machinist II and Machinist III talent—from developing machinists to fully independent setup experts.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and work instructions
- Set offsets, zeros, and perform light program edits
- Apply G-code / M-code knowledge and proper tooling
- Adjust feeds and speeds for drills, taps, and reamers
- Set up fixtures using edge finders and indicators
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and indicators
- Perform basic deburring and daily machine checks
- Follow 5S and Lean Manufacturing standards
Machinist III Scope (as applicable):
- Independent CNC setup with minimal supervision
- Review and edit programs to improve cycle time and quality
- Collaborate with engineering on machining improvements
- Document setup changes and best practices
- Provide guidance to less-experienced machinists
Machines & Controls
- 4 & 5-Axis CNC Mills: DMG Mori, Makino
- Mill-Turn Machines: DMG Mori
- Controls: Fanuc/Siemens 840D
What We’re Looking For
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Blueprint reading and basic GD&T comprehension
- CNC machining experience
- Strong focus on quality, safety, and detail
- Dependable and adaptable team player
Experience
- Machinist II: 1+ year experience
- Machinist III: 7–10 years experience with independent setup
