What you’ll be doing
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes and machining centers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders and part specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and verify conformance to specifications.
- Adjust machine controls and offsets to maintain quality and production requirements.
- Load materials, tools and programs needed for assigned work.
- Complete required production and quality documentation.
- Perform routine machine care and help maintain an organized work area.
- Follow established safety, quality and production procedures.
What we’re looking for
Required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders and part specifications.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform basic shop math.
- Ability to work safely and follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferred
- One year of machining or manufacturing experience.
- Experience operating CNC mills, lathes or machining centers.

Physical demands and travel
This position involves standing, walking, sitting, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping and kneeling. Employees may lift and carry up to 50 pounds; heavier items require mechanical assistance. Travel is minimal.
