CNC Milling Machinist – Day & Night Shift (Fanuc, 4/5-Axis)

The Work You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines
• Load, run, and monitor CNC programs using Fanuc controls
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Use basic inspection tools to verify parts during production
• Perform in-process checks to maintain quality standards
• Assist with setups including tooling, offsets, and workholding (if experienced)
• Troubleshoot minor machining issues and make adjustments as needed
• Work closely with quality and production teams to meet specifications

Machines, Controls & Software

You’ll work with equipment such as:

• Machines: OKK Vertical Machining Centers (VM5, VM7, MCV860), Makino A82 Horizontal Machining Center, OKK Horizontal Machining Centers
• Controls: Fanuc
• CAM Software: Mastercam (support environment)
• Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM support

Materials You’ll Work With

• Aluminum
• Steel (mild and alloy)
• Titanium
• Machinable plastics

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 1+ years of CNC machining experience (milling preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
• Experience using basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused

Preferred (Not Required):

• CNC setup experience
• 4-axis or 5-axis machining experience
• Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments
