The Work You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Adjust cutting paths, speeds, feeds, and offsets to optimize performance
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues in real time
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
- Conduct basic machine maintenance (cleaning, tool wear monitoring, gasketing)
- Participate in time studies and process improvement initiatives
- Train new team members on machine operation and program execution
- Assist with developing inspection protocols and quality standards
This position requires both hands-on machining expertise and a proactive mindset focused on improving efficiency and quality.

What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 1–3+ years of CNC machining experience
- Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Working knowledge of G & M codes
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other inspection tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
- High school diploma
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
- Associate degree in CNC machining or related field
- Experience with SolidCAM
- Exposure to CAD/CAM programming
- Experience in tooling, die, or extrusion-related manufacturing

Work Environment:
Manufacturing / machine shop environment with exposure to industrial noise and equipment. PPE and safety protocols are required and enforced.
